My inspiration is found in the patterns of nature that are formed by the action of wind, fire, air water, time, and human intervention. I am interested in the way nature erodes, explodes, decays, degrades, than re-forms and re-patterns itself in response to these forces. My work is often very local in content, with images taken from my own garden or nearby landscape. The works in this series have all been created using images from my recent caravan trips to nearby coastal national parks. It is inspired by the creatures that call the shoreline and coastal forests home.
